Designed for experienced swimmers, the Lifeguard Academy teaches
adolescents (ages 13+) how to keep themselves and others safe
around water and prepares candidates for employment in the aquatic
industry.
During the week-long camp, candidates will complete their
Lifesaving Society Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross and Standard
First Aid certifications. These courses allow successful candidates
to work in PEI as an Assistant Lifeguard and provides them with all
the necesary prerequisites to register for the Society's National
Lifeguard course.
